About us

This website is owned and run by Simone Vosloo Physiotherapy (Pty) Ltd. These details are published as section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 requires.

Not medical advice

The information on this website is general. It is not a diagnosis, and it does not replace an assessment by a physiotherapist or doctor who has examined you. Do not delay seeking care because of something you read here.

In an emergency, call 10177, or 112 from a cellphone, or go to your nearest emergency unit. Do not use WhatsApp, the booking questions or email to report an emergency.

Booking appointments

You can ask for an appointment through the booking questions, WhatsApp, phone or email. Sending a message or your details does not book an appointment. Your appointment is booked only once the practice confirms a date and time with you.

There is no cancellation or missed-appointment fee. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please let us know as early as you can, so the time can be offered to another patient.

Fees and medical schemes

Fees depend on the type of session and the treatment you need. Simone will explain the fee and how payment works when you come in, before treatment starts. You receive an invoice at your consultation. Fees include VAT.

The practice does not bill medical schemes directly. If your medical scheme covers physiotherapy, you may be able to claim from it using your invoice. Please check your benefits with your scheme.

Information on this website

We work to keep this website accurate and up to date, but information can change. Descriptions of treatments explain what the practice offers. They are not a promise of a particular result, because recovery differs from person to person.

• Get It Magazine. The magazine piece we show and link to is an advertorial feature about the practice.
• Photos. Photos on this website show the practice and its team. Patients who appear in them have given their written permission.

The body map and booking questions

The body map shows common reasons people see a physiotherapist for pain in each area. It is a guide to help you describe what is going on, not a diagnosis. At the end of the booking questions you can send your details to the practice, or send them yourself on WhatsApp. Sending does not confirm an appointment; the practice will contact you to confirm a time.

Please only send details about yourself, or about a child or another person you are legally allowed to act for.

Using this website

You may use this website to learn about the practice and to contact it. Please do not:

• send false, misleading or someone else's details through the booking questions;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its platform or any information on it, or interfere with how it works;
• use automated tools to copy content from the website or send messages through it.

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the website at any time.

Links to other websites

This website links to other services, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps and Yumpu. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Intellectual property

The practice name, logo, text, design and our own photographs belong to Simone Vosloo Physiotherapy (Pty) Ltd or are used with permission. The Get It Magazine cover and page belong to their publisher and are shown to link to the feature. You may view and share pages from this website for personal use, but may not copy or reuse its content commercially without our written permission.

Liability

We provide this website as general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by relying on general information on the website, by the website being unavailable, or by other services we link to.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot be excluded, and nothing limits our liability for gross negligence or anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude. Your treatment is governed by our professional duties and not by these website terms.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA: text has strong colour contrast, the booking questions work with a keyboard and screen readers, images have text descriptions, and movement is reduced if your device asks for less motion.

Governing law and changes
